Madia Ruby West

Spartanburg, SC- Madia Ruby West, 80, wife of the late Barney L. West, died Monday, October 22, 2018. Born June 27, 1938 in Spartanburg, SC, Ruby was a daughter of the late William and Bessie Garrett West. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Ruby was a member of the Moore Church of Christ. Ruby is survived by her son, Barry West (Anita) of Rutherford, NC; her daughter, Stephanie Robertson (John) in Inman, SC; daughter in-law, Wanda West of Waterloo, SC; nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; a brother, Maxie West of Una, SC; and two sisters, Brenda Fowler of Virginia and Sandra Tweedy of Roebuck, SC. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by sons, Kenneth Lee West and Jonathon Edward West; a brother, Billy West; and a sister, Mary Chapman. A celebration of life will be held Friday, October 26th, 3:00PM, in the Moore Church of Christ, officiated by Michael Grooms.
