Mary Herting Gamble Roebuck – Mary Alice Herting Gamble, 84, wife of James Carl Gamble, died Thursday, January 28, 2021. Mary was born on September 30, 1936 to the late Elnor James and Alice Gonstead Herting. She retired from Kmart Corporation and was a member of Roebuck Presbyterian Church In addition to her husband, Mary is survived by two sons, Richard Gamble (Linda) of Spartanburg, Alan Gamble (Cheryl) of Inman; daughter, Terri Rankin (Daniel) of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; brother, Chuck Herting of CO; four grandchildren; Rusty Gamble, Christopher Gamble, Lori Martin, Mary Rankin; two great-grandchildren, Azia Martin and Hunter Gamble. A memorial service will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, February 5, 2021 at Dunbar Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 10:00AM - 10:45AM prior to the service. The service will also be available via live stream at www.facebook.com/dunbarlivestream. The family respectfully requests that guests wear masks and observe social distancing.
