Mary Edna Walker Lindsey

Spartanburg, SC- Mary Edna Lindsey, 94, wife of the late Edwin Earl Lindsey, passed away on Friday, February 10, 2023, surrounded by her family.

Born April 25, 1928 in Spartanburg, SC, Mary was a daughter of the late Benjamin C. and Nonie V. Wyatt Walker. Mary was a longtime member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church and retired from Hoechst Celanese.

Mary was the last surviving member of her immediate family and leaves behind her daughter, Mary Movita L. Berry (Oneal) of Spartanburg, SC; grandsons, Mike Willard (Kim) and Christopher Berry; two great granddaughters, Dr. Lindsey W. Fisher (Drew) and Natalie McAlister-Clarke (Rob); two great-great grandchildren, Ally Marie and Easton Andrew Fisher; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her siblings, Robert C. Wyatt, William B. Walker, Ruth Mumbauer, and Ruby Lee Powell.

The family will receive friends Monday, February 13^th, 11:00AM until Noon at Dunbar Funeral Home.

Funeral services will follow in the Chapel at Noon, officiated by Reverend Fred Quidley.

Burial will be private.
