Mary Bucca Onorato

Spartanburg, SC- Mary Bucca Onorato, 85, wife of Victor Onorato, passed away on Monday, January 18, 2021. Born January 29, 1935 in Messina, Italy, Mary was a daughter of the late Anthony and Carmela Isgro Bucca. She was a member of Jesus Our Risen Savior. Mary had a charitable nature and as many of you who knew her, she loved people and she would always invite you over for coffee or prepare a nice Italian meal! She loved to talk for hours, laugh and dance, had a big heart for family and friends, and had a strong faith in our loving God! In addition to her husband, Mary is survived by her sons, Armand Onorato (Sheila) of Roebuck, SC and Anthony Onorato of Charleston, SC; daughters, Nancy O. Pickard of Charlotte, NC and Carmelina Livingston (Allan) of Charleston, SC; six grandchildren; one great grandson; and sisters, Mimi Mannino, Angela Madamba, Nicoletta Wilson, and Josephine Mickle. She was predeceased by a brother, Dominick Bucca. A private family Mass will be held at Jesus Our Risen Savior. Public interment at Heritage Memorial Gardens will be Friday, January 22nd, 11:30AM.
