Mary Frances Rogers

Boiling Springs, SC- Mary Frances Foster Rogers, 91, wife of the late Ligon Augustus Rogers, died Thursday, January 16, 2020. Born October 18, 1928 in Tryon, NC, Mary was a daughter of the late William Walker and Marzie Wallace Foster. She was a longtime member of Beaumont Baptist Church for 65 years. Mary is survived by her son, Charles William Rogers; her daughter, Brenda Rogers Liles and her husband, Paul; grandchildren, Steven W. Rogers (Dee), Marie Aku (Jason Brannon), Brenda Lee Marcelino (Herb Cox), Ashley N. Bogan (Lance), and Frances Liles West (Christian); five great grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a son, Dan Rogers. The family will receive friends Sunday, January 19th, 1:00-2:00PM at Dunbar Funeral Home. Funeral services will immediately follow in the Chapel. Burial will be held in Boiling Springs Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
