Michael Jerimiah Garrett

Pauline, SC- Michael Jerimiah Garrett, 42, husband of Kayla Canterbury, passed away on Monday, May 15, 2023 at the Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home.

Bo was born September 29, 1980 in Gainesville, Georgia.  Born the second child and eldest son of Michael and Pamela Garrett, but was raised by his grandparents Mr. and Mrs. John Garrett.  Bo came to South Carolina for a new start and a chance to redeem himself.  After meeting his wife, Kayla, he was able to do just that.  He enjoyed his position at Secondary Solutions, Inc and felt like he had found a second family there.  Bo was always quick with his humor, whether making up his own words to songs or dancing in the rain, it brought him joy to put a smile on someone else's face.  Even when he didn't have much, he was always willing to give what he could; his joy, his smile, and his laughter.  Bo had a heart as big as the moon and brighter than the sun.  And for those of us who knew him best our lives will have a little less merriment in them.  He was loved beyond measure and will always be missed.

In addition to his wife, Kayla, he is survived by his children, Jacob Garrett and Maggie Garrett; stepson, Zachary Green; grandson, Alexander Green; siblings, Marti Shewbert, Levi Garrett, and Cody Garrett; and various aunts and uncles.

He was predeceased by his grandfather, John; and his parents, Michael and Pamela Garrett.

The family will receive friends Friday, May 26th, 6-8PM at Dunbar Funeral Home.
