Michael "Mike" Kenneth Cox

Inman, SC- Michael Kenneth Cox, 46, husband of Kirsten Axford Cox, died suddenly on Saturday, December 2, 2017. Born December 4, 1970 in Lenior, NC, Mike was a son of Kenneth DeWitt and Doris Marie Willis Cox. He was VP at HSGM USA for many years. Mike was an avid mountain biker and camper, a loving husband and father, and a great friend to all. In addition to his wife and parents, Mike is survived by his sons, Tommy and Nickolas Cox; a daughter, Gretchen Cox; brother, Mark Cox of Duncan, SC; sister, Donna Woody (Ricky) of Duncan, SC; brothers in-law, Kai Axford (Christy) of Plano, TX and Chad Axford (Karen) of Raleigh, NC; several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles. He was predeceased by a daughter, Klaudia Cox; and a nephew, Gregory Cox. The family will receive friends Friday, December 8th, 12-1PM at Dunbar Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow in the Chapel at 1PM, officiated by Reverend Kenneth Cox and Reverend Eric Sparks. Burial will be held in Woods Memorial Park in Greer, SC.
