Michael Krell Sherbert

Michael Krell Sherbert, 54, of Roebuck, SC, passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2024. He was born on December 6, 1969, in Spartanburg to Grace Jolley Sherbert. Michael dedicated 25 years to his career in construction. His work ethic and willingness to lend a helping hand endeared him to colleagues, family, and friends. He found peace when fishing, especially on Lake Hartwell, where he spent countless hours. An avid football fan, Michael was a proud supporter of the University of Alabama Crimson Tide. Michael also loved music, especially the band Lynyrd Skynyrd, and playing with his grandson, John. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Kimberly Shamp Sherbert; daughters, Heather Abbott (Justin) and Kayla Alquran (Maan); son, Matt Jolley; grandchildren, John Alquran and Layla Alquran; brother, Brian Jolley; and sister, Ashley Jolley. He was predeceased by a brother, Steve Sherbert. Visitation will be 12:30-1:30pm on Thursday, February 15, 2024 at Dunbar Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2:00pm, conducted by Rev. Jack Caldwell.
