Michael Lee Warren

Michael Lee Warren, 55, of Union, SC passed away on December 1, 2024. He was the son of Connie Warren and the late Harry Warren. He was born in Spartanburg, SC and lived in Pauline, SC for most of his life. He was a truck driver and machine operator. Michael was a gentle giant and was affectionately known as "Sugarbear" because he had such a tender heart. He loved animals of all kinds, so much that he would stop to move a turtle out of the road to keep it safe. He was a talented amateur artist who loved expressing his art using various mediums including drawing, painting, and woodworking. 

In addition to his mother, Michael leaves behind a daughter, Lindsay Warren of Chesnee, stepbrother Derrin MCAbee(Kim) of Duncan, SC, and many loving family members. He was predeceased by his father and a stepbrother, Phillip Warren, of Pauline, SC. Visitation will be held at Walnut Grove Methodist Church in Roebuck, SC on Friday, December 13th from 11:00 AM -1:00 PM. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
