Mildred Hawkins Green Spartanburg – Mildred Hawkins Green of Spartanburg, SC died Thursday, August 19, 2021. Born in Spartanburg County on March 3, 1937, she was the daughter of the late JT and Vera Mae Baynes Hawkins and the wife of Larry E. Green. Mildred was a member of Roebuck Baptist Church and the Dorcas Sunday School Class where she served as Sunday School Teacher and past member of the Adult Sanctuary Choir. She was retired from the Accounting Department of Sally Foster, Inc. In addition to her husband, Mildred is survived by two sons, Rocky D. Green (Beth) of Moore, Tommy Green of Spartanburg; daughter, Tonya G. Murray (Bobby) of Spartanburg; two sisters, Ereline H. Benson, Shelba H. Green both of Spartanburg; grandsons, Jason Murray (Danielle) of Holly Springs, Stephen d. Murray (Cassie) of Spartanburg; granddaughters, Kayla J. Green, and Grace D. Green of Moore; great-granddaughters, Rylie Olivia Murray, Emma Rose Murray of Holly Springs; and a great-grandson, Sawyer Dean Murray of Spartanburg. Mildred was predeceased by a granddaughter, Louanna Green A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, August 22, 2021, at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
