Miriam Pearson Garrett
Roebuck, SC - Miriam Pearson Garrett, 69, wife of Gene Garrett, died Saturday, June 18, 2022, at the home.
Born December 10, 1952, Miriam was the daughter of the late H. Mauldin Pearson and Lee Ila White Pearson. She was a woman of faith and had a servant’s heart. Her roots ran deep in the town of Pacolet as her salvation was solidified at Pacolet Mills Baptist Church. To know Miriam is to love her instantly. She was a woman who invested her all into every relationship she had and had a way of letting everyone know they were deeply loved. As an administrative assistant for more than twenty years, she cared for her staff and patients with a smile that made working with her an absolute joy. Her most treasured relationship was to all of her family. As her children grew up, she became a second mom to all who entered their home. Miriam was a devoted wife who adored her husband, and she cherished her time as a mom and grandmother by spoiling them all with love.
In addition to her husband, Miriam is survived by her daughter, Kelly Garrett Bailey (Tim); grandchildren, Cameron, Garrett, and Kase.
She was predeceased by her son, Shane Eugene Garrett; and sister, Diane Pearson Kirby.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM – 2:30 PM on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, in the chapel of the Church at The Mill. A memorial service will follow, officiated by Rev. Asheton Amerson.
