Norma J. Lindsey Henson

Norma J. Lindsey Henson Roebuck – Norma Jean Henson, 78, went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 22, 2018. Norma was born on February 27, 1940 to the late William Hamilton and Minnie West Miller. She was a loving mother and grandmother, an entrepreneur, owner and operator of Norma’s Beauty Nook. Norma was the last surviving charter member of Moore Baptist Church She is survived by two sons, Hugh Lindsey of Roebuck, Jeff Lindsey (Tammy) of Glenn Springs; a daughter, Cathy Foster of Roebuck; sister, Nan Fletcher of Cross Anchor; seven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. Norma was predeceased by twelve siblings and her son, Jerry Lindsey. The family will receive friends from 9:00AM – 9:45AM on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at Dunbar Funeral Home.  A funeral service will follow at 10:00AM, officiated by Rev. Henry Johnson. Interment will be at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
