Patricia Anne Morrison Harris

Patricia Anne Morrison Harris, 71, of Pacolet, SC passed away on Friday, December 1, 2023. Born in Fayetteville, NC on August 29, 1952, she was a daughter of the late Wilbur James and Julia Roberta Allgood Morrison. A true caregiver, Patricia began her career in nursing at the young age of 15. She started out as a nurse’s aid in the nursing home where her mother worked. She then earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing and worked her way from nurse, to Nursing Supervisor, and finally to the Administrator of Valley Falls Terrace. She was very well respected by her peers and her patients’ families. Patricia was a caregiver at home, too. She loved spending time with her immediate and extended family. Patricia loved to be creative and enjoyed crafts, sewing, and flower arranging. She is survived by her children, Marc Harris (Melissa) of Lexington, SC, Julie Hicks (Timothy) of Pacolet, SC, and Gina Sample (Derek) of Port Wentworth, GA; grandchildren, Draven Sample, Kristin Sample, Morgan Sample, Harris Hicks, Lorryne Sample, Evelyn Harris, and Piper Harris; sisters, Elizabeth Burch (Bobby) of Eastman, GA and Barbara Justice (Steve) of Tyrone, GA; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 1:00-2:00pm on Sunday, December 10, 2023 at J.M. Dunbar Funeral Home, 690 Southport Road, Roebuck, SC 29376. A memorial service will follow at 2:00pm in the Chapel, conducted by Rev. Todd Lowe.
