Patricia Lyda Libby

Spartanburg, SC- Patricia Lyda Libby, 73, wife of the late Leon E. Libby, died on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at her home, Pacifica Skylyn. Patricia was born February 9, 1945 and was a daughter of the late Burrell Eugene and Lois Millwood Lyda. She is survived by her sister, Penny Lyda Poteat and her husband, Michael; brother in-law, Joseph Barry Kirby; nephew, Stacy Lyda Hoffmann; great niece, Haley Lois Hoffmann; two sisters in-law, several nieces and nephews, all of Lubec, ME; one special cousin, Becky Wilkins; and her childhood friend of 72 years, Charlotte Williams. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a sister, Kay Lyda Kirby. The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to all of her friends and caretakers there at Skylyn for their loving care. The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 20th, 2:00 – 2:45PM at Dunbar Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow in the Chapel at 3:00PM. Entombment will be held in Heritage Memorial Gardens.
