Patricia Granger Morris

Spartanburg, SC- Patricia Granger Morris, 75, died Sunday, November 5, 2017. Born January 31st 1942 in Ware, MA. She was a daughter of the late Russell and Ruth Granger. After raising her six children, Patricia realized a lifelong passion for helping others by becoming a social worker. Patricia is preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Thomas Morris; her daughters, Debbie Hernandez (Gilbert), Donna Carlson (Patrick), and Kasey McIntosh; and her grandson, David Beard. She is survived by her children, Michael Morris (Deborah), Linda Finn, and Becky Recker (Russ); her brother, Gordon Granger (Carol); seven grandchildren, David Morris (Alecia), Laura Stennett (Brad), Amanda Ewing (Chris), Daniel Morris, Andrew Hickox, Ally Jones (Jared), and Jacob Carlson. She also leaves nine beloved great-grandchildren, Arialle, Jaden, Mackenzie, Hayden, Connor, Tyler, Willow, William and Lilly; as well as many nieces, nephews, family members and friends. She will be laid to rest with her husband in Beaufort National Cemetery. Graveside services will be held Friday, November 10th at 2PM. In lieu of flowers, Bama’s favorite charity was close to home. Her great-granddaughter Willow has experienced more than any child should have to.
