Patricia Weiss

Patricia Weiss Moore, SC- Patricia Birnbach Weiss, 68, wife of William Weiss, died Friday, February 5, 2021. Born November 13, 1952 in Albany, NY, she was a daughter of Stella Chmielewski Birnbach and the late John Birnbach. Patricia was a graduate of Vincentin Institute, class of 1970. She worked for the State of New York and as a shift manager of McDonalds for many years before moving to South Carolina. After the move in 1992, Patricia worked for Jesus Our Risen Savior Catholic Church as bookkeeper and secretary, in addition to her work with the Outreach Pantry. She was a life member of Fuller Road Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary in Colonie, NY and past president of Knights of Columbus Council 9575 Ladies Auxiliary. In addition to her husband and mother, Patricia is survived by her sons, Brian Weiss (Melissa) of Landrum, SC and Michael Weiss (Kaci) of Spartanburg, SC; grandchildren, Bryson, Noah, Faith, Tobey, and Landon Weiss, and Lexi Davis; a brother, Edward Birnbach (Laura) of Schenectady, NY; a niece, Rebecca Kennemore (Patrick) of San Diego, CA; and great niece and nephew, Juniper and KJ. She was predeceased by a brother, John Birnbach; and a sister, Theresa Bodian. A memorial Mass will be held Friday, February 12, 2021 at Jesus Our Risen Savior Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Spartanburg Humane Society, 150 Dexter Road, Spartanburg, SC 29303 or to Infinity Paws Animal Advocacy of Landrum, SC.
