Peggy was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, and Nana. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Peggy was quick to flash her beautiful smiles and give big hugs. Her warmth was infectious, and she passed along her caring nature to many. Her biggest claim to fame was most likely her wonderful Southern cooking, which was all masterfully prepared with her loving hands. Peggy always made sure everyone was well-cared for and well-fed. Her sense of humor was truly a gift to be around. Always an avid reader, she made great use of the Spartanburg County Library.
A celebration of life service will be held at the J. M. Dunbar Funeral Home Chapel, 690 Southport Road Roebuck SC 29376 on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at 1:00pm.
In remembrance of Peggy, memorials may be made to The Lindsay Home (394 Camp Joy Road Zionville, North Carolina 28698), where her precious daughter Margaret is lovingly cared for as a resident. Please indicate that the gift is for resident activities.
The family wants to extend much appreciation to her caregiver Jackie Tinsley, the staff at Summit Hills Assisted Living, and to the incredible care and ministry she received at the Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home.
