Phelix Wright Lancaster

Phelix Wright Lancaster Pauline – Phelix W. Lancaster, 75, husband of Judy Nolan Lancaster, died Wednesday, August 2, 2017. Phelix was born on May 6, 1942 to the late Jesse Right and Rhoda Gowan Lancaster. He was a graduate of Roebuck High School, class of 1960. Phelix founded Lancaster Paint Sundries Inc. with his brother George Martin in 1965. He retired in 1990. Phelix was a member of Bogansville United Methodist Church. In addition to his wife of 53 years, he is survived by a son, Gregory Martin Lancaster (Dana) of Cummings, GA; daughter, Kelley Lancaster Toland (Joe) of Cummings, GA; and a sister, Elliotte L. Kelly (Bill) of Buffalo. Phelix was blessed with four grandchildren, Maggie Toland, Connor Toland, Lilly Lancaster, and Nolan Lancaster. The family will receive friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM on Friday, August 4, 2017 at Dunbar Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at Dunbar Funeral Home officiated by Reverend Larry Fleming. Interment will follow in the Bogansville United Methodist Church Cemetery, Jonesville, SC. The family would like to express their appreciation to Kaci Stockhaus and the staff of Spartanburg Regional Hospice House for their love and care. They would also like to thank their longtime friends Bobby (Sandy) Steadings, and Phil (Joan) Atchley for their support and friendship.
