Ralph Edward Phillips

Ralph Edward Phillips, age 70, lost his brief but fierce battle with pancreatic cancer on January 28, 2024, in Spartanburg Medical Center. A long-time resident of the Moore community, Ralph is survived by his wife, Elizabeth, of the home, and son, Bradford, who now resides in Charlotte, NC. He is also survived by his sister, Jane Phillips Daves, of Cowpens. Ralph was predeceased by his parents Quinton and Betty Phillips of Cowpens. Ralph was a proud graduate of the University of South Carolina and worked throughout his career in accounting, financial planning, and management. Ralph was a devoted husband and father. He loved his family and friends, the beach, southern rock music, and Gamecock football. His favorite hobby was spending time playing with his "grand-dog," Sully. A Celebration of Life is planned for Friday, February 16, at 4:00 pm at Cowpens First Baptist Church in Cowpens, SC. Family will receive friends immediately after the ceremony.
