Reverend Donald E. Alexander, Jr. Jonesville – Reverend Donald Eugene Alexander, Jr., 61, husband of Rhonda Petty Alexander, passed Thursday, January 28, 2021. He was born on August 17, 1959 to the late Donald E. Alexander, Sr. and Doris Vicars Alexander. Donald attended Byrnes High School and graduated from Spartanburg Methodist College, Limestone College, and Duke Divinity School. He was Life Member of SC Jayce Senate and Palmetto Corp, and was a former Boy Scout Leader. Donald pastored many churches in the SC upstate and was currently serving Bogansville UMC. In addition to his wife, Donald is survived by his son, Trey Alexander (Regina) of Union; grandchildren, Jacob, Hope, Dakota, Melissa, and Donna. He was predeceased by his sister, Donna A. Funderburk. A crypt side service will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at Heritage Memorial Gardens officiated by Reverend Steve Alred. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bogansville UMC; 4052 Buffalo-West Springs Hwy, Jonesville, SC 29353. The family will be at the home.
