Roland David Fleming

Spartanburg – Roland David Fleming, 88, husband of the late Florence Schrimsher Fleming, died Tuesday, August 10, 2021.

David was born on February 3, 1933 to the late Miles Roland and Lola Mae Bull Fleming. He faithfully served his country in the US Army during the Korean War.  David retired from the SC Department of Highways and attended Golightly United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his daughter, Susan Fleming of Spartanburg; two sons, Jeff Fleming of Spartanburg, Randy Fleming of Roebuck; two sisters, Irene Owens of Roebuck, Myrtle Wyatt of Spartanburg; two brothers, Larry Fleming of Chesnee, Cecil Fleming of Spartanburg; and a grandson, Lucas Fleming.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00AM on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at Philadelphia Baptist Church Cemetery officiated by Rev. Greg Thompson.  The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
