Ronald Eugene Fowler

We are heartbroken to announce the death of loving father, husband, and friend to many, Ronald Eugene Fowler . He passed away peacefully at the age of 69, surrounded by friends and family at Regional Hospice Home on Wednesday, January 11, 2023.

Born March 19, 1953 in Pacolet, SC, he was a son of the late Forrest “Bo” Fowler and Edith Addis Fowler. Ronald enjoyed golfing, bowling, and fishing and was always cracking a joke. Ronald retired from Asplundh after 30+ years of service, he was lovingly known to many as “big daddy” and “sweet lips”.

In addition to his wife, Lisa, he is survived by his son, Forrest Fowler and his wife, Tess; his daughter, Allison Fowler; his “adopted” daughter, Christian; his sister, Janice Martin; and his 3 grand puppies that he loved so dearly. 

He was predeceased by a brother, Wayne Fowler; and beloved best friend, Bella, the Fowler Family’s golden retriever that was always by his side. 

We would love you to come and honor his life at Saint Matthews Episcopal Church on Sunday, January 15^th at 3:00PM. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, beginning at 2:00PM.

The graveside service will be a private ceremony with only close family members present.
