Spartanburg – Ronald Lee Poole, 81, died Tuesday, April 12, 2022.

Ronald was born on July 4, 1940, to the late Luther and Vivian Taylor Poole. He was a graduate of Wofford College, completing ROTC there and then enlisting in the US Army and later the National Guard. Ronald retired as a Production Manager having served at Abbott Labs, Texize, and Wise Foods.  He was an avid reader, enjoyed discussing politics and loved spending time with other veterans.

Ronald is survived by his son Joseph Brent Poole of Spartanburg; daughter, Rhonda Amy of ID; grandchildren, Joey Poole of Spartanburg, Colton Poole of Roebuck, Nikita Amy of NV and Dakota Amy (Alison) of MT.

A memorial service with military honors will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday, April 16, 2022, at Eastside Baptist Church, Spartanburg.  The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
