Ronnie "Roundman" McAbee

Spartanburg, SC- Fredrick Ronald McAbee, 75, husband of Sandra Gail Henderson McAbee, passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2018 after an extended illness. Born October 21, 1942 in Spartanburg, SC, Ronnie was the son of the late Irene McAbee Cole. He was a technician for 20 years with Sun Amusement Company until his retirement in 1995. Ronnie was of the Baptist faith and a devoted viewer of The Encouraging Word of First Baptist Church Spartanburg. In addition to his wife of 54 years, Ronnie is survived by his children, Cindy and Roger Jones of Myrtle Beach, SC, Randy McAbee of Roebuck, SC, Denise and Mike Washburn of Pauline, SC, and Freddie and Karen McAbee of Johnson City, TN; he was the grandfather of 13; and great grandfather of 16. He was predeceased by a daughter, Rhonda Gail McAbee. Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 7th, 2:00PM at Dunbar Funeral Home, officiated by Reverend Kenneth Cash. The family will receive friends following the service.
