Ruth Bulman Gossett

Ruth B. Gossett Spartanburg, SC- Ruth Bulman Gossett, 95, wife of Robert W. Gossett, passed on Thursday, April 19, 2018. Born October 12, 1922 in Roebuck, SC, Ruth was the daughter of the late Chalmers W. and Codie McGuffin Bulman. She was a graduate of Roebuck High School and Robinson’s College of Business. Ruth was a former employee of Hammond Brown Jennings and a faithful member of Trinity Methodist Church. Ruth could be found diligently working in her yard, helping things grow and be beautiful, just as she did her family, whom she loved most dearly. In addition to her husband of 73 years, she is survived by her daughters, Linda G. Smith (Stephen) of Gray Court, Jill G. Martin of Boiling Springs; granddaughters, Sarah Martin of Boiling Springs, Loren Hyatt (Craig Moore) of Amman, Jordan, and Leah H. Peace (Taylor) of Columbia; great granddaughter, Savana Rain Hughes of Boiling Springs; and her beloved dog Tyler. Ruth was predeceased by her brothers, Marion, J.C., and Harold Bulman; and a son in-law, Mark Martin. Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 22nd, 2:00PM at Dunbar Funeral Home.
