Ruth Cash Neely

Ruth Cash Neely had an early Easter. She experienced the resurrection on the first day of spring, Monday, March 20, 2023.

Born September 16, 1932 in Iva, SC, Ruth was the daughter of the late George W. Burdette and Eula Mae McMahan Burdette, and wife of the late J. Rayford Cash.

In addition, she was predeceased by former husbands, Kirk Neely and William Hart; her son, Bruce Emory Cash; her daughter, Kathy Cash Nalley; son in-law, Randy Nalley; and her siblings.

Ruth leaves behind her daughter in-law, Katherine Neely Cash; her grandchildren, Katherine Grace Hargrove (Robert), Annabeth McCall Wilton (Rob), Kirk Emory Cash (Tara), Jeslyn Cash Lanier (Chris), Taylor Bruce Cash (Nicole), and Lawton Neely Cash; sixteen great grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.

Ruth was cared for by her beloved niece, Karen Paige Gillespie (Charles) and her daughter-in-law, Kitty. The family wishes to express their appreciation to the staff at White Oak Estates Assisted Living, for their kindness and attentive care during her stay there.

Ruth was a former active member of Morningside Baptist Church and First Baptist Church Spartanburg.

Graveside services will be held Friday, March 24^th, 12:00PM in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
