Samuel "Bill" William Hannon, Jr.

Spartanburg, SC- Samuel William Hannon, Jr., 76, husband of Sue Shore Hannon, died Tuesday, September 12, 2017. Born September 7, 1941 and a native of Rock Hill, SC, Mr. Hannon was the son of the late Samuel William Hannon, Sr. and Mary Whitlock Hannon. He received his Master of Divinity at MidAtlantic Bible Institute and pastored churches throughout South Carolina and Georgia. Mr. Hannon was a devoted servant of God, husband, father, and grandfather. In addition to his beautiful wife of 55 years, he is survived by his sons, Samuel William Hannon, III (Rhonda) of Spartanburg, SC and Joshua William Hannon of Boyertown, PA; three daughters, Cindy Marthers of Spartanburg, SC, Kimberly Stober (Randy) of Columbia, SC, and Jennifer Hunter (Warren) of Spartanburg, SC; ten grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a granddaughter, Gianna. The family will receive friends Friday, September 15th, 1-2PM at Fairview Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow at 2PM, officiated by Reverend Ty Childers and Reverend Roland Dry. Burial will be held in the church cemetery.
