Sandra McDonald "Sandy" Evans

Spartanburg, SC- Sandra Gail McDonald Evans, 68, wife of the late David L. Evans, died Saturday, September 29, 2018. Born July 8, 1950 in Ottawa, Canada, Sandy was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Lois Mosley McDonald. She was a graduate of Spartanburg High School, Class of 1968, was a member of The Eastern Star, and attended Golightly United Methodist Church. Sandy was a loving “Grammy” to her grandchildren, whom she adored. Sandy is survived by her daughter, Tammy E. Wingo and her husband, Jeff; grandchildren, Emily and Casey Wingo; two brothers, Reverend Kenneth McDonald and his wife, Nelly, and Reverend Gordon McDonald and his wife, Glenda; and a sister in-law, Joyce McDonald. In addition to her husband, Sandy was predeceased by a brother, Robert McDonald; and her companion, William Terry Lanford. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, October 2nd, 11:00AM in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, officiated by Reverend Kenneth McDonald and Reverend Gordon McDonald. The family will greet friends following the service at the graveside.
