Sidney Albert Jackson

Spartanburg, SC- Sidney Albert Jackson, 85, died Tuesday, May 16, 2017. Born December 30, 1931 in Spartanburg, SC, Sidney was a son of the late William and Eunice Hammett Jackson. He honorably served his country in the US Air Force and attended Casey Creek Baptist Church. Sidney is survived by his sons, Ricky Sidney Jackson (Ann) and Timothy Albert Jackson, both of Spartanburg, SC; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; a brother, Danny Jackson (Carolyn) of Chesnee, SC; and two sisters, Desama Kimbrell (Franklyn) and Doris Bishop, both of Chesnee, SC. He was predeceased by a son, Roger Jackson; two brothers; and two sisters. A memorial service with military honors will be held Thursday, May 18th, 2PM at Casey Creek Baptist Church. The family will receive friends following the service. A private family interment will be held.
