Sondra B. Wheeler

Spartanburg, SC- Sondra Blackburn Wheeler, 70, wife of the late Paul Edward Wheeler, Sr., passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2022.

Born July 28, 1951 in Chicago, IL, Sondra was a daughter of Katherine Eaker Lemmons and the late Hugh Blackburn. She was a charter member of Consuming Fire Christian Outreach.

In addition to her mother, Sondra is survived by her daughter, Kassie Worthy (Tim) of Spartanburg; grandchildren, Chelsea Putnam of Mayo, Isaiah Putman of Spartanburg, Dalton Worthy (Autumn) of Roebuck, Trey and Dakota Wheeler, both raised in the home, Greyson Worthy of Spartanburg, Sophie Worthy of Spartanburg, Brandon Worthy of Columbia, and Austen Worthy of Spartanburg; great grandchildren, Zayden Patterson, Chloe Banks, and Roy Lee Bradley, all of Mayo; brothers, Billy Blackburn, Ricky Blackburn; and a sister, Linda Blackburn.

In addition to her husband and father, Sondra was predeceased by her son, Paul Wheeler, Jr.; daughters, Michelle Hatchette and Lori Wheeler; and a grandson, Jacob Brock.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 3^rd, 6-8PM at Dunbar Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 4^th, 2:00PM at Dunbar Funeral Home, officiated by Pastor Tim Worthy.

Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
