Sue Tapp Sanders

Roebuck – Sue Elizabeth Tapp Sanders, 85, wife of Henry Manuel Sanders, died Tuesday, December 4, 2018. Sue was born on November 18, 1933 in Inman, SC to the late James Sexton and Edna White Tapp. She retired from Roebuck Buildings and was a member of Roebuck Baptist Church where she served as financial secretary for over 40 years. In addition to her husband of 63 years, Sue is survived by her children, Rhonda Franklin (Johnny) of Anderson, SC, Phillip Sanders (Kathy) of Roebuck, SC, Karen Bond (Mike) of Moore, SC, Rodney Sanders (Teresa) of Roebuck, SC, and Melanie Garner (Todd) of Woodruff, SC; brother, Joe Bill Tapp of Spartanburg, SC; and a sister, Betty Dukes of Blythewood, SC. She was blessed with eight grandchildren, Evan and Tyler (Callie) Franklin, Casey Bond Lyles (Cameron), Dillon Bond (Kortney), Aubrey and Annika Grace Sanders, Jordan and Logan Garner; and four great-grandchildren, Seager and Rhett Franklin, Hudson, and Cooper Lyles. Sue was predeceased by her brothers, Jay and Leonard Tapp; half-brothers, Gus and Duel Tapp; step siblings, Milan Ramsey and Pauline Ramsey Lowery; and a grandson, Spencer Sanders. The family will receive friends from 1:00PM to 2:30PM on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at Roebuck Baptist Church. The funeral service will immediately follow. Interment will be in the Roebuck Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Roebuck Baptist Church, Lottie Moon Christmas Offering, P O Box 490, Roebuck, SC 29376.
