Terry J. "T.J." Scruggs

Moore, SC- Terry Joseph “T.J.” Scruggs, 39, husband of Brandi Owenby Scruggs, passed away on Thursday, June 17, 2021. Born February 22, 1982 in Spartanburg, SC, he was a graduate of Dorman High School, class of 2000. T.J. loved to fish and enjoyed any kind of sport that he could get into with his son, Brayden. His life and love revolved around his beloved son, wife, and faithful companion, Lola. In addition to his wife, Brandi, T.J. is survived by his son, Brayden; his mother, Wanda Toney Waddell; grandmother, Doris Toney; sister, Crystal Tedrick and her husband, Israel; niece and nephews, Carsten, Malachi, and Briley Hall; and mother in-law, Becky Owenby. The family will receive friends Monday, June 21st, 6-8PM at Dunbar Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 22nd, 1:00PM at Dunbar Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Good Shepherd Memorial Gardens in Boiling Springs, SC.
