Spartanburg, SC- Thomas Churchill Lewis, 80, husband of 50 years to the late Joyce Duck Lewis, passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2020. Born October 28, 1940 in Easley, SC, T.C. was the son of the late Larry and Clara Sheriff Lewis. As a child, T.C. dreamed of working in radio, and as an adult, he made that dream come true. He was a former business owner of radio stations WKDY Spartanburg, WQUL Woodruff, and WELP Easley. Even after his retirement, T.C. was a valued consultant and the well-known radio personality on WQUL. When T.C. wasn’t on the radio, he could be found working in his flower beds and spending time with his grandchildren, whom he loved dearly. He was a member of Morningside Baptist Church for many years and served as a Deacon. T.C. was survived by his son, Chris Lewis and his wife, Carol; his daughters, Denise Arcaro and her husband, Brian, and Lisa L. Donahue and her husband, Dale; grandchildren, Tyler Jordan (Kristen), Lindsey Jordan, Stephen Lewis, Spencer Lewis, and Faith Toney (Chris); and three great grandchildren, Gage, Forrest, and Lucy Jordan. A private memorial service will be held for Mr. Lewis and can livestreamed at https://www.msidechurch.org/media on Saturday, January 23rd, 3:00PM. The password to the livestream is Lewis.
