Spartanburg, SC- Victor Wayne Coleman, 68, beloved husband of Marcella “Marci” Adams Coleman, passed away into the arms of his Savior on Tuesday, May 16, 2017, surrounded by his loving family. Born March 25, 1949 in Chester, SC, he was a son of the late Arthur Peay Coleman and Frances Sprouse Coleman Tucker. Wayne was a graduate of Union High School, class of 1967, and Spartanburg Technical College where he received his degree in Electrical Engineering. He was employed with Monsanto/MEMC until it closed, and BMW until he was disabled. In addition to his wife of 27 years, Wayne is survived by his son, Adam Richardson of the home; his sisters, Rhonda Watkins (Bob) of West Columbia, SC and Marsha Sumner of Union, SC; stepdaughters, Tammy Mittag of Roebuck, SC, Autumn Knighton (Tony) of Woodruff, SC, and Michelle Sanders of Roebuck, SC; sister in-law, Phyllis Adams White (Richard) of Spartanburg, SC; father in-law and former pastor, Dr. William Herbert Adams (Dorothy) of Inman, SC; and many more loved ones. Wayne was predeceased by his daughter, Jessica; and first wife, Harriet Coleman of Roebuck, SC. The family will be at the home, 373 Marconi Drive. A visitation will be held Saturday, May 20th, 12:30-2PM at Carolina Baptist Church. Memorial services will follow at 2PM, officiated by Reverend Marc Williamson.
