Viengxay Chanthavy

Chesnee, SC- Viengxay Chanthavy, 61, husband of Chomseng Chanthavy, passed
away on Monday, June 26, 2023 at 1.13am.

Born February 16, 1962 in Vietiane, Laos, he was the son of the late Wale and Moune
Chanthavy. Immigrated to the U.S. in 1980, married Chomseng in 1981 in San Jose
CA. Viengxay moved across the country to South Carolina in April of 1987.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Scott Chanthavy (Janie
Thammavong) and Bill Chanthavy (Sylvia Lee)

Grandchildren, Bill Polo Chanthavy, Nautica Chanthavy, Olivia Chanthavy, Colton
Chanthavy, Tre Gomez, Lyric Gomez (Kentorius Jefferies), Kierra Gomez, and
Leilani Prakansa.

Viewing will be held Friday, June 30th at 4:00 pm

Services will be held Saturday, July 1st, 2:00PM at Dunbar Funeral Home.
