Virginia Joan Buero Hall

Spartanburg, SC- Virginia Buero Hall, 83, wife of Wilton Tippett Hall, Sr., passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, surrounded by those that loved her most.

Born August 25, 1939 in Charleston, SC, Ginny was a daughter of the late Wallace and Virginia Buero. She was a faithful member of Roebuck Baptist Church where she served diligently in their deaf ministry. Together, Tip & Ginny, were instrumental in passing a bill in South Carolina to have sign language accepted as a foreign language in public schools.

In addition to her beloved husband of 64 years, Ginny is survived by her sons, Wilton Tippett Hall, Jr. and Ronald LeRance Hall, Sr. and his wife, Darlene; a daughter in-love, Donna Hall; her cherished “little flock” of grand and great grandchildren, Courtney Hall Lee (Chris) and their children, James and Madelyn Lee, Heather Hall Carter (Steven) and their children, Walker, Wyatt, and Hadley Carter, Caroline Hall Morris (Ben) and their daughter, Liza Morris, Lance Hall (Aimee Sever-Hall) and their children, Xade, Zala, and Zuko Sever-Hall, Christen Hall, and Zachary Hall (Morgan); and her sisters, Diane B. Conger (Allen) and Laverne B. Kennedy (Steve).

The family will receive friends Sunday, February 26^th, 2:30-3:15PM at Roebuck Baptist Church. Funeral services will begin at 3:30PM in the sanctuary, officiated by Reverend Dr. Tim Williams.

Burial will be private.
