He was born on March 26, 1990, in Spartanburg, South Carolina, and called Chesnee, SC, his home. Caleb was the treasured son of Mark S. Wingo and Tena Anne Tillotson, a testament to their love and commitment to family. His journey through life was marked by significant milestones, including his attendance to Boiling Springs High School, where he laid the foundation for a bright future. Professionally, Caleb found his passion in the world of arboriculture. He worked as a tree arborist, fearlessly climbing trees to care for and preserve them, a testament to his connection with the natural world. His dedication to this craft was a reflection of his unwavering work ethic. Caleb was not only connected to the earth but also to his faith. He was a devoted believer in Jesus Christ, finding solace and guidance in his spiritual journey. His faith provided him with strength and comfort throughout his life. In his leisure time, Caleb found peace and joy in fishing. The tranquil moments spent by the water, surrounded by nature's beauty, were cherished moments that allowed him to connect with the world around him. Caleb is survived by his loving brothers: Cooper Towery, Zack Wingo, and John Mark Wingo. Their bond as brothers was unbreakable, and their shared memories will forever hold a special place in their hearts. He is also survived by his grandmothers, Tobatha Tillotson, Cathy Wingo and Susan Tillotson, whose love and presence brought warmth to his life. Caleb was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Johnny Wingo and Wayne Tillotson. While they are no longer with us in the physical sense, their memories will live on in the hearts of those who loved them. The family will receive friends Monday, September 11th, 5-7PM at Dunbar Funeral Home.
