Keystone Heights, FL- Wilfred Joseph Forgette, 84, husband of Violet Louise Forgette, passed away on Friday, October 13, 2017 at Windsor Health and Rehabilitation Center in Starke, FL. Born February 11, 1933 in Malone, NY, he was a son of the late Wilfred Paul and Mildred Preston Forgette. After graduation, Wilfred joined the United States Navy where he proudly served his country for 20 years. He then went on to serve as an FBI agent for 17 years. Wilfred was a resident of Bradford County for many years before a recent move to Keystone Heights. While living in Lawtey, he attended First Baptist Church. Wilfred enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his family. In addition to his wife, Wilfred is survived by his sons, James W. Forgette, Jr. (Janet) of Tennessee and Wallace Shirley (Kay) of South Carolina; three grandchildren, Patrick and Heather Shirley and Kelley Bivano; and five great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held Friday, October 20th, 10AM at Dunbar Funeral Home, 690 Southport Road, Roebuck, SC 29376. Burial will be held at a later date in Buck Creek Cemetery.
