Willene Marie Edgar

Spartanburg, SC- Willene Marie Edgar, 73, wife of Ronald James Edgar, passed away on Monday, October 4, 2021. Born June 28, 1948 in Battle Creek, MI, Willene was a daughter of the late William and Marie Maxine Newhouse Jones. She was a skillful chef, a geneology enthusiast, and history buff. Willene was a devoted Christian and adored her grandchildren. Her kindness, generosity, and wisdom will be lovingly remembered and sorely missed by those she leaves behind. In addition to her husband of 48 years, Ronald James Edgar, she is survived by her son, Christian Edgar; daughters, Katrina Towns (Tony), Cheri Vine (Fred), and Victoria Riddle (Jason); her beloved grandchildren, Kaylee Riddle, Jonathan Schuyler, Kristen Schuyler, Benjamin Walls, and Jessica Walls; her brothers, Charles “Chuck” Jones and David Jones; and a sister, Jeannie Bragagnini. She was predeceased by a daughter, Jennifer Wall; and a grandson, Parker Riddle. The family will receive friends Saturday, October 9th, 5-7PM at Dunbar Funeral Home.
