William Matthew Johnson

Moore, SC- William Matthew “Matt” Johnson, 51, died Saturday, February 5, 2022 at his home.

Born October 22, 1970 in Huntington, West Virginia, Matt was the son of William Richard and Suzann Sloan Johnson. Matt was raised in Richmond, Virginia and it was there that he called home. He loved to cook and earned his culinary degree from Spartanburg Community College. Matt was an avid NASCAR fan and loved animals.

In addition to his parents, Matt is survived by his sister, Claire Johnson.

Services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to one’s local humane society.
