William D. Martin Moore - William D. Martin, 97, husband of the late Jeanette Campbell Martin, passed away on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at the Richard Campbell Veterans Nursing Home in Belton, SC. He was born on May 11, 1920 to the late Jerry and Cora McKinnish Martin.  William faithfully served his country during WWII, serving in the Navy in the South Pacific on the USS New York.  He worked in textiles for more than 50 years and was a member of Roebuck Baptist Church. William is survived by a son, Bill Martin Jr. (Sue) of Duncan, SC; daughter, Carolyn Bulman (Earl) of Roebuck; sisters, Doris Adams, Betty Godfrey, and Evelyn McCurry all of Forest City, NC. He was blessed with three grandchildren, Chad Martin (Andrea) of Charlotte, NC, Jeff Bulman (Chris), Jeanna Tate (Glenn) both of Roebuck; four great grandchildren, Olivia and Chloe Martin and John David and Will Tate. The family will receive friends from 3:00PM to 4:00PM on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at Dunbar Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow immediately at 4:00PM in the Dunbar Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Reverend Frank Ledvinka. Interment will be in the Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery.
