William Johnnie McDaniel, Jr.

William J. (Billy) McDaniel Jr., 47, of Pauline SC, passed away Thursday, December 5th 2019 peacefully at his home with his dog at his side. Born July 20, 1972, in Georgia, he was the son of William J. McDaniel Sr. and the late Susan W. Shirley and reared by the late Steven D. Shirley. Mr. McDaniel was an avid fisherman and a die-hard Clemson fan. He attended Berea High School and was a 1991 graduate of Dorman High School. He attended Horry-Georgetown and USC Laurens. He was of the Baptist faith and was a member of First Baptist Spartanburg. Survivors include his son, Clayton James McDaniel, a daughter, Bailie Susanna McDaniel of the home, and his wife, Lori Hyatt McDaniel of Pauline. Also a daughter, Lauren Brooke Lowe (Joey) of Pacolet SC. His Step-mother, Karen Holly of Ormond Beach Florida. Six sisters and one brother. Also, a special cousin who was like his brother, Robbie Dunaway along with many other cousins, and his best friend, his dog, Dexter. Services will be held Saturday, December 14th, 3:00 at Walnut Grove United Methodist Church and visitation immediately following the service. The family is at the home of 1732 Riddle Road Pauline, SC.
