William C. (Bill) Taylor, Jr.

William (Bill) Taylor, Jr. Spartanburg – William Carter (Bill) Taylor, Jr., 72, beloved husband of Suzy Goodson Taylor, died Friday, November 2, 2018. He was born on October 15, 1946 to the late William Carter Taylor, Sr. and Elizabeth Clarke Taylor.  Bill, a beloved husband and father, faithfully served his country in the US Army, was a graduate of Wofford College, and retired as Director of Operations for Chapman Cultural Center. In addition to his wife of 49 years, he is survived by his son, William C. (Tad) Taylor III of Spartanburg; sister, Abby Mills and her husband Eddie of Florence. Bill was blessed with a special grandson, John Clarke (Jack) Taylor. He was predeceased by his daughter, Martha Taylor and his brother, Johnny Taylor. Private family services will be held at a later date. In remembrance of Bill, memorials may be made to the Spartanburg Humane Society; 150 Dexter Rd, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
