William Towery

Spartanburg, SC- William Towery, 88, husband of the late Myrtle C. Towery, passed away on Monday, May 14, 2018 at the Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born May 21, 1929 in Spartanburg, SC, William was a son of the late William and Alma Satterfield Towery. He was the owner of the Pioneer Fish Camp and a longtime member of Moore Church of Christ. William is survived by his children, Kenny E. Towery and Louise DeShazor; his brother, John V. Towery; nine grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by two sons, David W. and Ricky W. Towery; and two sisters, Myrtle Cartee and Ethel Pearson. The family will receive friends Thursday, May 17th, 11:00AM – 12:00PM at Dunbar Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow in the Chapel at 12Noon. A private burial will be held in Heritage Memorial Gardens. The family will be at the home of his brother.
